Beyond Conventional Medicine: The Next Frontier

A residential conference held over three days at the Caravela Beach Resort in South Goa, given to the ground conventional practice tends to hand off: the metabolic, hormonal and cellular reasoning that sits underneath a diagnosis rather than after it.
Dr Mitra Basu Chhillar was the main speaker across the scientific sessions.
Registration ran on a residential basis — two nights at the resort on a twin-share basis, all meals, and access to every scientific session — so that the teaching had three days and a room rather than an hour and a slide deck.
The scientific sessions covered:
- Cellular optimisation and mitochondrial enhancement in chronic disease
- Cancer control beyond supplements
- Hormonal optimisation, the functional way
- Ozone — beyond the obvious
- Xenobiotics and detoxification — science or façade
- Antiaging — whether it is possible, and on what expectations
- Insulin resistance — a disease or a syndrome
- Common and uncommon supplements, and how to choose
- Men’s health — the parts patients do not raise
- Intravenous nutrition
- Long COVID — approach and expectations
- Neuroregeneration in Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s
- Adrenal exhaustion and fatigue — diagnosis and management
- Bone healing and insulin resistance
- Peptides — present and future
- Photobiomodulation
- Knees — from replacement to repair, restoration and regeneration
Faculty: Dr Mitra Basu Chhillar, Dr Jignesh Patel, Dr Chandan A and Dr Naresh Agarwal. Sessions closed with a faculty panel taking questions from the floor.
The teaching did not fit the three days.
The sessions time ran out on are being recorded and released online, one every Sunday.
